1 cup Makhana (Fox nuts)
1 tbsp Ghee
400ml Milk
2 tbsp Sugar
1 tbsp Cashew nuts
1 tbsp Almonds
1 tbsp Pistachios
1 tbsp Kishmish
2 pods of Cardomom
few strands of Saffron soaked in warm milk
Directions
- Heat 1 tbsp Ghee in a pan.
- Add Makhanas and roast for 2-3 minutes on low to medium flame.
- Remove half of the makhanas and grind them when they cools down.
- Now add milk to the pan with roasted makhana.
- Allow it to boil.
- Add crushed Makhana.
- Heat for 8-10 minutes.
- Add Sugar and dryfruits and cook for another 8-10 minutes.
- Add cardomom powder and saffron soaked in warm milk.
- Serve hot or chilled.
