1. 3 Urad dal Papad
2. 1/2th cup Moong dal badi
3. 1 small potato
4. 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
5. 2 tsp Red chilli powder
6. 2 tsp Cumin-coriander powder
7. Salt to taste
8. 3 tbsp Oil
9. 3-4 Garlic cloves
10. Pinch of Asafoetida
11. 1 whole red chilli
Directions
- Heat 1 tbsp Oil in a pan.
- Add mangodi and roast for 2-3 minutes on medium to high flame.
- Remove it in a bowl.
- Heat 2 tbsp Oil in the same pan.
- Add 4-5 chopped garlic cloves, 1 whole red chilli and pinch of asafoetida.
- Add Turmeric powder then add diced potato.
- Cook for 5-6 minutes.
- Add mangodi and other dry spices.
- Add a cup of water and cook until the potatoes are done.
- 10. Add 3 urad dal papad and cook for 1-2 minutes.
- 11. Serve hot with Rotis.
